I don't know. I think that the problem depends on the new snd-aoa series modules. They are not needed with snd-powermac that can handle the i2s bus by itself. Other modules touching the same bus sounds like a bad idea. I may be wrong, though. A simple test could be to just move the new modules out of the way.
