Do we really want such over-granularity? What about Ockham's Razor? Things should not be multiplied beyond necessity. Do we really benefit from having 10 packages of 30K each? IMHO, the confusion caused by this is much greater than the saved space on disk. I'm not opening a new bug for this, but I wish you would reconsider about this multi-split.
