After upgrading my ajp13 worker no longer initialised and connection to the Tomcat server did not occure. While investigating the problem I striped the workers.properties file down to the bear minimum: worker.list=pugwash worker.pugwash.type=ajp13 as per http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/reference/workers.html JK log file (trace level) gave the following: [trace] map_uri_to_worker::jk_uri_worker_map.c (542): enter [debug] map_uri_to_worker::jk_uri_worker_map.c (597): Attempting to map URI '/manual/page/Meister' from 1 maps [debug] map_uri_to_worker::jk_uri_worker_map.c (609): Attempting to map context URI '/manual/*=pugwash' source 'JkMount' [debug] map_uri_to_worker::jk_uri_worker_map.c (624): Found a wildchar match '/manual/*=pugwash' [trace] map_uri_to_worker::jk_uri_worker_map.c (627): exit [trace] jk_handler::mod_jk.c (2065): enter [debug] jk_handler::mod_jk.c (2131): Into handler jakarta-servlet worker=pugwash r->proxyreq=0 [trace] wc_get_worker_for_name::jk_worker.c (105): enter [debug] wc_get_worker_for_name::jk_worker.c (115): found a worker pugwash [trace] wc_get_worker_for_name::jk_worker.c (117): exit [trace] wc_maintain::jk_worker.c (309): enter [debug] wc_maintain::jk_worker.c (323): Maintaining worker pugwash [trace] ajp_maintain::jk_ajp_common.c (2532): enter [trace] ajp_maintain::jk_ajp_common.c (2540): exit [trace] wc_maintain::jk_worker.c (334): exit [debug] wc_get_name_for_type::jk_worker.c (292): Found worker type 'ajp13' [error] jk_handler::mod_jk.c (2223): Could not init service for worker=pugwash [trace] jk_handler::mod_jk.c (2227): exit But downgrading to 1.2.18-3etch1 everything worked again. -- System Information: Debian Release: lenny/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.22-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libapache2-mod-jk depends on: ii apache2 2.2.6-1 Next generation, scalable, extenda ii apache2-mpm-prefork [apache2] 2.2.6-1 Traditional model for Apache HTTPD ii apache2.2-common 2.2.6-1 Next generation, scalable, extenda ii libc6 2.6.1-1 GNU C Library: Shared libraries libapache2-mod-jk recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
