Hello, and thank you for your thoroughness in dealing with bugs in the stardict package. If anything, Debian always held user reports at a whole other level than most other projects.
But it's been almost 14 years, and I no longer use KDE, nor stardict. Seeing a major version of stardict is now in the archive, I think we can safely close this bug. I have no information on in that I can offer. Again, thank you for revisiting this issue. Best, -dato.
