I just reinstalled icedove and icedove-dbg using "apt-get remove
icedove" and "apt-get install icedove icedove-dbg" and now it works. I'm
sorry, I don't know why I didn't try that earlier. But I guess I have
never experienced any problems like that before when doing an APT
upgrade so was a bit shocked.
I guess it would pay to leave the ticket open for a little while and see
if anybody else reports the same problem, otherwise I guess it's safe to
assume that it was a file system error or something like that during the
upgrade?? It's possibly a packaging problem rather than an app problem.
Thanks,
Mark
