In chapter 4.5.4.2 there is a translation error in the german translation. The english original states: ... The german translation is as follows: ... Falls das Paket libfam0c102 installiert ist, schliessen Sie libfam0 nicht in dem folgendem Kommando ein. Falls das Paket xlibmesa-glu installiert ist, lassen Sie es in dem folgenden Kommando weg. ... This is wrong and led to serious hassle with an upgrade from sarge to etch. The correct sentence should be: ... Falls das Paket libfam0c102 nicht installiert ist, schliessen Sie libfam0 nicht in dem folgendem Kommando ein. Falls das Paket xlibmesa-glu nicht installiert ist, lassen Sie es in dem folgenden Kommando weg. ... This is also in line with the previous paragraph.
