this is just to let you know that miro also segfaults in current i386
testing running in standard *virtualbox* setup (different rss feed).
Starting it up with the --xine-driver=xshm option as suggested by
initial reporter (Rainer D.) fixes the problem here.
Attached is etc/X11/xorg.conf.
