Hi,
I saw that you are discussing the pygtk-2.0 problem on [1].
The problem is more severe than the pkgconfig path settings.
Today, I compiled webkit from Debian GIT repository pkg-webkit/webkit.git.
[CODE]
git clone git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-webkit/webkit.git
chmod +x debian/rules
fakeroot
Thanks (please tell the bug); someone please try to find out why the
rtupdate script isn't called or doesn't work, I don't have the time
right now

python-defaults-2.5.2-0.2-nmu.diff does NOT fix the PyGTK problem.

It should, and /usr/share/python/runtime.d/python-gtk2-dev.rtupdate
should have updated it; did it run? That's what I'm trying to find
out.

This is only visible when upgrading python.
I have no idea what went wrong
apt-get install --reinstall python-gtk2-dev worked, but its of course

Package: python-gtk2-dev
Version: 2.12.1-1
Severity: important
File: pygtk-2.0
The path pyexecdir in the pkg-config file /usr/lib/pkgconfig is set to the
python2.4 path but should be the python2.5 path now.
