Thanks for mentioning that Jan. I reported the critical data loss
problem to http://bugs.debian.org/504767 -- I marked it as "critical",
so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

a new version of mooedit has been released (0.9.4) which fixes some critical
data-loss bugs!
Please update the debian package accordingly, this wishlist item has just
evolved into a serious problem...
