Package: gscan2pdf Version: 0.9.23 Severity: wishlist Using gscan2pdf in a thin client environment with SunRay diskless clients means that the USB scanner is attached to such a device. For scanning a wrapper needs to be used that translates the scanimage command to "USB over Ethernet". The Sun Ray Server Software (SSRS) that can be used with Debian provides a binary "utusbrun" which makes scanning possible when called as a prefix to the scanimage command. It would be great for this specific environment if gscan2pdf had an option in the general settings where this prefix could be defined because running gscan2pdf with the wrapper does not work.
