thanks for the hints -- indeed with experimental xorg it loaded fine. unfortunately it made box unusable (doesn't redraw nicely... had to move window to get it redrawn fine) but the main part that it forbidden me to troubleshoot that crash bug -- with INTEL_DEBUG=buf I get completely stalled
