Bug#498749: Why not fixed yet?

fixed 498749 2.12-1 thanks Hi, How will this bug be fixed in Lenny? It's fixed upstream by remembering to zero-terminate the plugin output. Is there anything I could do to make this happen? I has been pending for two months now.
