Package: keepalived
Version: 1.1.15-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

keepalived silently ignores unknown config options. A warning or info
message is neither printed on the terminal when starting up nor
available in syslog. Using -D to get detailed log messages does not
change that behavior.

Example: I accidentally used "static_ipaddresses" instead of
"static_ipaddress" which left me without the specified IP and no hint
about that whatsoever.

It would be nice to get an appropriate warning in syslog and possibly
even a hint about that on the terminal when starting up.

TIA,
Sebastian
