Package: rng-tools Version: 2-unofficial-mt.10-2 Severity: normal I discovered that rngd wasn't running on my system any more. I tracked it down to rngd expecting --hrng=name instead of --trng=name, which is what I had in /etc/default/rng-tools. It was a bit confusing because the man page says 'trng' while 'rngd --help' says 'hrng'.
The 10-1 commit message includes + Backport s/TRNG/HRNG/ in all docs but I can't see any patch doing the same substitution to the code itself. If someone could double-check this that would be great, thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.27.1 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.ISO8859-1) Versions of packages rng-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13etch8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii makedev 2.3.1-83 creates device files in /dev ii udev 0.105-4 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo rng-tools recommends no packages. -- debconf-show failed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
