Package: devscripts
Version: 2.10.47
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

I tend to build all my packages in a common directory. Today I needed to
use `debclean --cleandebs`. To my surprise, I noticed later that it
deleted all *.deb files in the parent directory, including those that
were pending an upload.

I realize this is documented in the man page, but I think it's
undesirable behavior. Wouldn't it be better to just clean files
mentioned in debian/files? (And maybe retain the current behavior with
an --all flag, or something.)

Thanks for considering,
