I had the same issue on a Intel 82Q35 Express. I for a couple days now haven't had any issues by switching to use UXA and KMS (kernel-based mode setting). I am not sure which fixed it but I don't have corruption.
To enable UXA I put this in the Device section of xorg.conf: Option "AccelMethod" "UXA" Then to enable KMS I put this line in /etc/modules: i915 modeset=1 I haven't had any corruption, suspend and resume works fine, and it seems a bit faster to me. The downside is that I can't switch to virtual terminals. If I try it appears to lock the machine. My desktop stays up and the same. The mouse disappears and any activity like blinking cursor or scrolling stops. But if I switch back to VT7 everything comes back. I guess I can live with no VTs for now without having corruption. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
