I am working on the packaging of a new upstream version. This bug will
be fixed when that is uploaded.

Hi
Now that the blocking bug in debhelper has been fixed, what's still
needed to fix this bug?
Cheers

Package: gracie
Version: 0.2.8-1
--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
The same problem reproduced on my squeeze installation.
Invoking 'pycentral pkginstall gracie' solves the problem.
--- System information. ---
Architecture: amd64
Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-amd64
Debian Release:
I also had the same problem, starting gracie, after installing yesterday
on Sid.
I was able to get it to start after executing "pycentral pkginstall
gracie", as already mentioned in the bug report.
I can take a wild guess, and suggest that there's a package the author
has installed which is
package gracie

I did not try installing it in a new chroot. I will
package gracie

thanks
I don't observe this behaviour today, in a raw chroot built from
Debian ‘unstable’. Instead, I see:
=
# /etc/init.d/gracie start
Starting Gracie OpenID
provider:/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/gracie/server.py:90: UserWarning:
ope
Package: gracie
Version: 0.2.8-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
gracie cannot even get configured properly, since the postinst script
tries to start the server.
It fails to import gracie.server. I cannot import gracie, but I can
import other packages in /usr/share/pyshare
