Darcs's developers says what the problem in GHC.
It's possible to just rebuild package with ghc ≠ 6.10.1

which I can work with as expected. However, as soon as I hit 'q' to
quit less, the system load jumps up to 100% and darcs hangs. I have to
kill it with signal 9.
