Hello,

for more information, this bug is the same as this, which contains a lot

and indeed, as noted in the above report, there is an easy "dirty" 
solution to get pidgin working again with jabber accounts :

sudo rm /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10/libgstladspa.so
