Package: python2.6-doc
Version: 2.6.1-3
Severity: normal

Your package python2.6-doc ships a copy of jquery.js in
/usr/share/doc/python2.6/html/_static/jquery.js.

Please replace this copy with a symlink to /usr/share/javacript/jquery.js
and depend on libjs-jquery, the approach that has been taken by python-sphinx
and python-apt.

This is partially related to Policy 4.13 which deals with "Convenience copies
of code" in source packages, because it shares the same ideas.

There also seems to be a problem with the search in the documentation,
which can be fixed by a simple rebuild, as it seems to be fixed in newer
versions of python-sphinx.

BTW, is there any reason python2.6 is uploaded to experimental? Without
being added to the list of supported python versions, no external packages
are affected by a python2.6 installation.
