Package: ghc6-prof
Version: 6.10.1+dfsg1-13
Severity: normal

My system has:

j...@gnu:~>ls -l /usr/bin/ghcprof
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 25 Feb 26 17:53 /usr/bin/ghcprof ->
/etc/alternatives/ghcprof
j...@gnu:~>ls -l /etc/alternatives/ghcprof
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 31 Feb 26 17:53 /etc/alternatives/ghcprof ->
/usr/lib/ghc-6.10.1/bin/ghcprof
j...@gnu:~>ls -l /usr/lib/ghc-6.10.1/bin/ghcprof
ls: cannot access /usr/lib/ghc-6.10.1/bin/ghcprof: No such file or directory

And update-alternatives seems not to know about the alternative.

I suspect an upgrade forgot to remove these, or something?
