Package: reportbug Version: 4.2 Severity: normal I have written a bug report in reportbug but at the end I want to verify if it would take into account a supplementary header that I added in the bugreport.
For this I selected to edit my bugreport in a mailer and I chose mutt. Since everything was ready I didn't edit my mail. But mutt will exit(1) it you don't edit the draft passed via -H and not send the mail. The net result is that my bug was not sent and I was back to command line. reportbug should have told me "mutt returned exit status 1" and should have displayed again the last action menu so that I could try again. -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: DEBEMAIL="hert...@debian.org" EMAIL="raph...@ouaza.com" DEBFULLNAME="Raphael Hertzog" INTERFACE="text" ** /home/rhertzog/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "4.0" mode advanced ui text realname "Raphaël Hertzog" -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (150, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii apt 0.7.21 Advanced front-end for dpkg ii python 2.5.4-2 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-reportbug 4.2 Python modules for interacting wit reportbug recommends no packages.
