Package: libslp1 Version: 1.2.1-7.5 Severity: wishlist Hello!
I'm trying to get rid of net-tools on my system (in favor of iproute). libslp1 seems to depend on net-tools only for some ancient package configuration code that is currently disabled! See debian/libslp1.config Could you please comment out the code (instead of using " && false") and remove the net-tools dependency? If you need the code in the future, it would be nice if you supported iproute as an alternative to, or instead of, net-tools. The equivalent to "netstat -rn" is "ip route show". -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (300, 'unstable'), (100, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libslp1 depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.26 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.9-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii net-tools 1.60-23 The NET-3 networking toolkit libslp1 recommends no packages.
