Package: subversion
Version: 1.5.6dfsg-1
Severity: important

Attempting to checkout any subversion repository from sourceforge
results in an options error. An apparently-related bug (531338) says
that one should update neon27 to the version in unstable, but there is
no dependency on neon27 in the subversion client, nor did installing
that package from unstable resolve any issues.

I also attempted to install version 1.6.1 from experimental, but the
results were exactly the same. A typical error is as follows:

    $ svn co https://libdmtx.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/libdmtx libdmtx
    svn: OPTIONS of 'https://libdmtx.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/libdmtx':
could not connect to server (https://libdmtx.svn.sourceforge.net)

Note that this doesn't seem to affect svn://or file:// URLs, which
continue to work fine on local repositories. The problem seems to affect
only HTTP/HTTPS connections.
