For this usage, what do you think about using options '-s' or '-H' with
sudo and a system wide configuration file for msmtp ?

msmtp-mta does not work correctly when used over sudo as $HOME
still points to the user's home. This prevents msmtp-mta e.g. to work
with apt-listchanges.
