Subject: reportbug: Poor behaviour if configured for GTK2 but python-vte not
installed

Package: reportbug
Version: 4.4
Severity: important

If the user configured repotbug to use the GTK2 interface,
but the sysadmin didn't install python-vte, then
reportbug will open a dialog asking for python-vte to
be installed; acknowledging the dialog will exit reportbug.

It would be better if one (or more) of the following happened.

1) During the first-time configure, reportbug would check if
python-vte is installed, and if not warn the user that
the GTK2 interface is not available.

2) The dialog box should offer to reconfigure reportbug,
or give the command-line option to do so.

3) The dialog box should offer to fallback to the text
interface, or give the command-line option to do so.
