Package: grub-pc Version: 1.96+20090808-1 Severity: normal Hi,
googling this topic I found some threads concerning this problem in the upstreams devel mailing list: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2009-06/msg00264.html http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2009-07/msg00509.html So the maintainers know about the problem and since there were some patches I tested the unstable version from August 08. But still the same 'no mapping exists' error. Here is the output, please excuse the german parts: Entpacke Ersatz für grub-pc ... Richte grub-pc ein (1.96+20090808-1) ... Replacing config file /etc/default/grub with new version grub-probe: error: no mapping exists for `isw_gcbehhdgb_Volume01' Auto-detection of a filesystem module failed.
