However, it does not build with automake 1.10: ... autoreconf: running: automake --add-missing --copy --force-missing configure.ac:125: require Automake 1.10.1, but have 1.10 ... configure: creating ./config.status config.status: error: cannot find input file: Makefile.in make: *** [config-stamp] Error 1 I've facing this while doing some local backporting work, which included building libtool 2.2.6a-4 for etch.
