Hi, I get a Samhain warning every day and found that CUPS (!@!IO@#*&@#!!!) likes to update some timestamps in /etc/cups/*. I also read about the (imho) broken idea of the upstream maintainers to keep it that way.
But maybe one can take a peek at how HylaFax attacks a similar problem by copying /etc/hylafax to and fro, and adapt that to the CUPS problem?
