Yes, it is pretty annoying that you need to rebuild the package because
it was build with network-manager 0.8.x in mind...
Anyway the solution is to rebuild the package and just change the build
flags in ./blueman-1.21/debian/rules add "--enable-hal" to the following
line, like this:
DEB_CONFIGURE
Package: blueman
Version: 1.21-1
Severity: normal
