Hi, Looking at this problem again and again, I have thought it might be due to problem with optimized libraries that are not upgraded correctly. This would explain the problem on i386 only, not on amd64. If this is the correct problem, it can be workarounded by creating a /etc/ld.so.nohwcap file.
