Package: apticron Version: 1.1.27 Severity: normal Hi,
I use apticron to automatically get a list of packages pending an upgrade. Unfortunately, this list is usually incorrect (ie, it is not empty). When I log into the affected machine and say # aptitude update; aptitude safe-upgrade no packages are being upgraded, despite apticron mentioning a long list of packages pending upgrades for that machine. This problem occurs on several machines with different architectures and Debian releases.
