Package: nvidia-glx-legacy-173xx Version: 173.14.20-2sebrem Severity: normal
Hi, if you would like to fiddle around with the latest x.org, I have tried to re-package the current version 173.14.20-1 with the binaries from nvidia.com. The results are at http://sebrem.de/~sebrem/nv/ - without any warranties. With xserver-xorg-core 2:1.7.3.902-1 I had to kill and restart kdm via ssh from remote (2nd pc, lucky me ;) ) to be able to log in, now after update to 2:1.7.4-1 it appears to work. The -dev package does not install because I did not bump the version correctly. But maybe it helps until there is an official new package by the maintainers.
