Package: screen Version: 4.0.3-14em1 Severity: minor I use GNU Screen's :altscreen feature. When you close a full-screen app like less or w3m, the old contents of the screen (i.e. your shell interaction) is displayed.
Recently I noticed that this was not the case for Emacs. Below is a base64-encoded copy of a screenlog.0 generated from a "screen -c /dev/null" session running in a small xterm that, I believe, demonstrates the problem. Another IRC user reported that mutt (as well as Emacs) had this problem, but I can't reproduce that. I've CC'd an upstream developer, who has prepared a patch which ought to fix this problem (I haven't tested it yet).
