Hi Johannes,

more than one and a half year ago you reported following bug in Gnucash to the Debian bug tracker.

Package: gnucash
Version: 2.2.9-2
Severity: important

This might be a dupe of #443577, but That was reported more than 2 years ago
... !?

After a recent upgrade I can no longer retrieve security prices using the proce
editor.
Finance::Quote itself works just fine:
$ gnc-fq-dump yahoo  AMZN
Finance::Quote fields Gnucash uses:
     symbol: AMZN<=== required
       date: 12/11/2009<=== required
   currency: USD<=== required
       last: 134.15<=\
        nav:<=== one of these
      price: 134.15<=/
   timezone:<=== optional

The error reported by gnucash is:
     There was an unknown error while retrieving the price quotes.
And running from console with a "--debug" flag doesn't contribute anything
useful.

While I was able to reproduce the output of gnc-fq-dump, I had no idea how to reproduce your problem within Gnucash. Can you please provide a detailed description of a typical setup for using the Finance::Quote support together with some hints how to reproduce the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Micha
