Luk van Claes told me a while ago that there is no realistic chance for
youtube-dl to enter testing:
youtube-dl needs to many changes during the lifetime of stable to stay
usable, that's why it was decided in coordination with the maintainer
that the package should not be part of

I've seen the package is prevented entering testing. But I can't understand
what's exactly the
reason why it's been held. I think the package deserves being on testing since
it's the best tool
to download youtube videos: small, the dependencies
