Hi,
the mailgraph package does not send any default configuration for Lighttpd (nor
for any other web server, given it is only a .cgi located in a common place).
I cannot find with which package the file you refer to is shipped.
Do you know where this file comes from?
I propose to ship a sample

available.
When you look at the source page (for http://myserver/mailgraph for example),
you can see it :
