I have been affected by this bug too. I was able to get a backtrace
after installing the libgtk2.0-0-dbg, libcairo2-dbg, libx11-6-dbg,
libxrender1-dbg, libglib2.0-0-dbg, and libc6-dbg packages and setting
a breakpoint on the gdk_x_error function, and finally running iceweasel
with the --syn
