Hi, It seems that you are talikng about building courier-0.64.1, however courier in Debian is 0.63.0-2.1, it does not affect any packages in Debian.
I also tried to build 0.64.1 with pbuidler, installed courier-authlib-dev_0.62.4-1_amd64.deb and courier-authlib_0.62.4-1_amd64.deb that is from snapshot.debian.org, and got same error. After upgrading courier-authlib packages, I could build it. So, I suggest you to close this bug or downgrade severity, and update "Build-Depends: courier-authlib-dev (>= 0.63.0)" in debian/control when you upgrade courier package.
