Package: xmoto Version: 0.5.2-2 Severity: wishlist xmoto --updateLevelsOnly is a scripted way to fetch all levels. There are lots -- hundreds of megabytes -- and they end up in $HOME.
For a multi-user system with multiple xmoto users, this is a waste of network and disk resources. It can also cause problems if the users have strict disk quotas. It would be useful if xmoto provided an option cron.weekly job that downloaded levels to /var/lib/games/xmoto or similar, and xmoto was configured to look there for levels in addition to ~/.xmoto. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-rc2 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_AU.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xmoto depends on: ii libbz2-1.0 1.0.5-4 high-quality block-sorting file co ii libc6 2.11.2-1 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcurl3-gnutls 7.20.1-2 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libgcc1 1:4.5-20100227-1 GCC support library ii libgl1-mesa-glx [libgl1 7.7.1-3 A free implementation of the OpenG ii libglu1-mesa [libglu1] 7.7.1-3 The OpenGL utility library (GLU) ii libjpeg62 6b-16.1 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liblua5.1-0 5.1.4-5 Simple, extensible, embeddable pro ii libode1 2:0.11.1-3 Open Dynamics Engine - runtime lib ii libpng12-0 1.2.43-1 PNG library - runtime ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.8-6+b1 mixer library for Simple DirectMed ii libsdl-net1.2 1.2.7-2 network library for Simple DirectM ii libsdl-ttf2.0-0 2.0.9-1 ttf library for Simple DirectMedia ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.14-6 Simple DirectMedia Layer ii libsqlite3-0 3.6.23.1-4 SQLite 3 shared library ii libstdc++6 4.5-20100227-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii xmoto-data 0.5.2-2 2D motocross platform game - data ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3.4.dfsg-3 compression library - runtime xmoto recommends no packages. xmoto suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
