Hi,
I recently saw the eblook's wrong behavior with -e euc-jp on
LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8.
For example session (note input is euc-jp),
$ LANG=ja_JP.UTF-8 /home/hirofumi/bin/eblook -q -e euc-jp
/usr/local/share/dict/srd-fpw
eblook select 1
eblook

With some debugging, the cause of this behavior looks like readline()
