What does the net backend config file (/etc/sane.d/net.conf) look like? JB. The only uncommented line is 'localhost'. Commenting that out does fix the crash. I found that if I downgrade gdb to version 6.8 then I'm able to get the following backtrace, which seems to point the finger at the
