Hello, I apologize for not informing you earlier. Actually, one or two weeks ago I did some testing to find the root cause of this bug, and I noticed that this bug occurred only when one uses lxappearance to change the GTK theme.
lxappearance writes a .gtkrc-2.0 file which contains a line such as the following: gtk-font-name="Sans 10" but it doesn't add a stanza regarding the font. This in the end confuses libgnomekbd and causes it to segfault g-s-d. I reported this bug to the GNOME bugzilla a few days ago, and I was notified that this bug was already fixed and that the fix would be in the next version. Here's a link to my bug report: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=631168 This bug report contains a fix for the bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=618727 Can we please keep this bug open until it is fixed in unstable? Again, I am really sorry for not disclosing this information earlier. Thank you, M. Vefa Bicakci -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
