Hello,
I confirm this bug is still present on Squeeze.
# ip addr show
10: br0: BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP
link/ether 00:08:a1:95:f0:3b brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 10.3.5.1/24 brd 10.3.5.255 scope global br0
Today Upgrade from Lenny to Squeeze on my server (isc-dhcp-server
4.1.1-P1-12)
The server is also configured as a firewall.
However, the dhcp-server did not start:
dhcpd: No subnet declaration for br0 (no IP4 addresses).
However this is correct. The br0 (bridge interface) is part of the
firewall
Hi,
I also have the problem. Everything was all right while using dhcp3-server package, but
since the upgrade to isc-dhcp-server I have this :
dhcpd: No subnet declaration for eth0 (192.168.150.11).
[...]
dhcpd: Not configured to listen on any interfaces!
I did add eth0:0 to
Package: isc-dhcp-server
Version: 4.1.1-P1-9
Severity: normal
If an interface has a primary IP address (assigned by ifconfig) of 10.0.0.1
and
a secondary IP address assigned by ip addr add dev of 192.168.0.1 then the
DHCP server will refuse to start if the 192.168.0.0 subnet is the only one
