Package: japa Version: 0.2.1-3+b2 Severity: normal I get the following messages when running japa:
t...@asus ~$ japa -A Alsa_driver: detected more than 1024 playback channnels, reset to 2. Alsa_driver: detected more than 1024 capture channnels, reset to 2. playback : nchan : 2 rate : 48000 frsize : 1024 nfrags : 2 format : S32_LE capture : nchan : 2 rate : 48000 frsize : 1024 nfrags : 2 format : S32_LE not synced Connected to ALSA with 2 inputs and 2 outputs Alsa_driver: error on playback pollfd. Alsa_driver: stat = fffffffc, xrun of at least 0.296 ms Alsa_driver: error on playback pollfd. Alsa_driver: stat = fffffffc, xrun of at least 0.288 ms .. .. .. The noise signal outputted by japa has glitches every time these messages are printed. Typically, I get around 5-10 such messages per second. Note that all other ALSA software I use on this computer works fine. I use e.g. mplayer with alsa output, and do both record and playback through Jack. Using japa -J with jackd running is fine with no errors.
