Package: git-buildpackage Version: 0.5.2 Severity: wishlist i'm using git-buildpackage with a package in "3.0 (quilt)" format; quilt automatically creates a ".pc" directory, for internal use. unfortunately, git-buildpackage doesn't like to (re)build my package, as soon as ".pc" is there (untracked files!) i don't want to set the "--git-ignore-new" flag, as this would prevent me from tracking other changes.
i could create a personal .gitignore file, but since all debian packages that use quilt will eventually end up with a .pc directory, i would rather have this centralized, and have git-buildpackage automatically ignore .pc/ (at least if the source format is "* (quilt)" fgmasdr IOhannes -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34-1-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_AT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_AT.UTF-8 (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages git-buildpackage depends on: ii devscripts 2.10.65.1 scripts to make the life of a Debi ii git [git-core] 1:1.7.1-1.1 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii git-core 1:1.7.1-1.1 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii python 2.6.5-11 interactive high-level object-orie ii python-dateutil 1.4.1-3 powerful extensions to the standar ii python-support 1.0.9 automated rebuilding support for P Versions of packages git-buildpackage recommends: ii pristine-tar 1.03 regenerate pristine tarballs Versions of packages git-buildpackage suggests: pn git-load-dirs <none> (no description available) -- debconf information: perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = "de_AT:de_DE:de:en_GB:en", LC_ALL = (unset), LANG = "de_AT.UTF-8" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
