In fact, I think that it is a variant (rt3070) of rt2870. But anyway, I just connect the wifi stick to the computer (after updating kernel and rebooting). It starts to blink and detects the wifi signal, but not the needed channel (13). I type: iwlist wlan0 frequency and in the answer ther

Dear all, Bug n. 594561 is not fixed in version linux-2.6/2.6.32-23 (testing). The kernel detects the Wifi stick , but only same channels as before and nothing about freq. 2.472 ... Sorry for not reporting before, as it was impossible for me to check until now. Best regards, Wenceslao
