Hello systemd people! For your information I've just uploaded uptimed 1:0.3.16-3.2 where the rcS script (/etc/init.d/uptimed.sh) is not shipped (and removed on upgrades), since uptimed could be easily modified so the script was not needed. This means uptimed should not trigger the problem discussed in http://bugs.debian.org/600092 anymore...
I guess you might want to keep this bug open for the policy discussion though.
