Package: bsdmainutils
Version: 8.0.13
Severity: minor

hexdump(1) says about the format string "It is interpreted as a fprintf-style
format string".

However, apparently the %% pseudo-conversion to print a literal % character
doesn't seem to work.
e.g, I'd expect
echo hello | hexdump -v -e '/1 "%%%02X "' ; echo
to print "%68%65%6C%6C%6F%0A", but it doesn't. Instead I get "hexdump: %%: bad
conversion character"

'%' isn't listed with the unsupported conversion characters.
