All, I got pointed to this bug report by Ed Maste from FreeBSD. You suspect the given patch should fix it, but are you sure? In other words, have you tested it? Couldn't it just be a bug in the terminfo entry that's shipped with Debian? As far as I know, people have not reported this issue on F
